So, What is BIMS?
Beginners Internet Marketing School provides a very simple, easy and timely formula that will get you focused faster than anything I know, as it’s all about “you”...not someone else’s stuff that you don’t have a clue about or really care for that much! To earn income, value must be exchanged.
You know and trust yourself...because the people you’ll be dealing with as your future customers are just like you, good, ordinary people, looking to better themselves, little by little. You are the one that can help them. You sell stuff...People buy stuff!

Low Start Up Costs...Beginning an online business has cost benefits which are so low! Many of the noted players online have overheads of only between 10 and 30%. I haven’t heard of too many with 50% costs.
One guy I did hear about 3 years ago, was a good manager, had the cash to get whatever he wanted, started his online business, had lots of Internet Marketing mates who gave him plenty of help and information, had great connections and hired everyone to do everything. He made over 2 million dollars in the first year and paid out 1.2 million dollars in costs for wages and outsourcing etc.
That’s the only one I’ve heard of with such a low (40 %) net return... only $800,000 profit/net income in that, his first year!
That is not normal, either as a first year income or for online business costs, I can assure you!
Off line businesses operate on close to 70 to 90% costs for between 10 and 30% net return pa.
Online has little comparison as a start up or ongoing enterprise.
If you were to set up shop Off line, the minimum you’d pay for a one man shop would be about $1,000 a month rent for premises.
Then there’s phones, power, internet (both at home and at your business premises), public risk insurance, business registration, signage, website, business cards, newspaper and flyer advertising, office furniture and fit out, your physical product, home and business computers, printers and many other things I haven’t listed.
So far at a minimum you are up for at least $10,000 just to open your doors. Then for the next 3 months, your most basic costs would be rent at another $2,000, power, phone, etc...Another $2,000 minimum. So the grand total for 3 months as a basic start-up offline business would be about $14,000 to 15,000 plus stock!
Compare that to online business start up costs below.
Online your set up costs are...none of the above, as you have one computer and printer at home to start off with. Your next costs would be monthly hosting, auto-responder and a few other basic monthly business tool costs.
Month 1; All up, to get going online your extra costs in the first month are probably nil, other than the cost of your membership with Beginners Internet Marketing School (BIMS) and some D 2 Ring Binders, copy paper and inks!
Month 2; you’d have a couple of Domain name registration fees of $24 or so and possibly $1 for a 30 day autoresponder trial.
All website creation programs and editors we use are free. Hosting is provided free as needed in the programs we use and that’s about it for month two.
Month 3; you’d be up for $5.00 for some graphics, $19 for a month for an autoresponder and that’s about it!
Approximate costs for the first 3 months looks like it could be $100 to $150 or so, including BIMS Basics Membership!

WARNING!!!
A word of warning...Do not fall into the trap of expecting everything for free. No business anywhere runs on FREE! The mindset is to develop and exchange value. You are in business to earn an income, so are other people. Soon you will be exchanging your goods or services for someone else’s (value) money. You would earn nothing if everything was free. Stay away from freebie seekers. They are not your market and don’t understand the business mindset. They are NOT business people, so steer clear of them. You are not a charity. Become successful, earn money, THEN create or donate to charity. Don't become a recipient first off!

But from what I’ve heard the lessons are not relevant, as by the time it goes through the system, they get the manuals printed, courses written and other organizational things, that info is out of date or the teacher has moved on to do some marketing himself to earn heaps more than a meager salary as a uni lecturer!
So, until internet marketing is taught in secondary schools as a standard way of earning an income (and I can’t see that happening in the foreseeable future) where can a real newbie go? There really has been nothing for them out there...
But now there is. This is it!

10,000 hours of intense mental work will be required to get anyone right through to 6 and 7 figure annual income skill levels in any trade, profession or business. The Internet has no physical digging of drains, building fences, hammering nails or any hard yakka of that type, but plenty of mental yakka and more than enough of “sit-bone-itis!”
Most people just want to earn a bit of extra income or replace their income from a job they hate. As mentioned before, you may have a boat load of experience but have never found a plan to channel your expertise into before this.
Obviously, the course could take less time for you as you already may have thousands of hours study and practice under your belt and just need direction, a step by step plan, some private coaching...or just plain old encouragement!

You don’t want to become run down or fall seriously ill before you make it, do you? This journey is just so exciting. You can happily sit in front of the computer all day and forget time exists! (How do I know this?) Not good for your health. Just make sure you are aware of these easily developed and potentially dangerous habits and take preventative action. Go buy that timer!
So, be sensible...Everything will still be there to-morrow!

Not an Easy Road Ahead...
This will not be an easy path ahead...it is easy (physically) in one sense, but can be mentally frustrating on the other hand, so get it right at the start and prepare the foundations correctly to reduce frustration developing.
Statistics show that people who participate in correspondence courses without a formal framework of support and encouragement, have a massive fall out rate. Retention rates are not good at all.
You may find you don’t like sitting in front of a computer for the equivalent of 20-40 hrs or so a week. Complete the forms and charts given in the first weeks of your course and you could find that you are not prepared to put in the hard yakka needed to succeed long term. I'm telling you like it really is here! I'm not going to sell you a pipe dream...heck, I still buy into them and I should know better! So, take it from someone who is just as real as you... Do the first 3-5 months properly and this one thing I will promise you...If this is for you, you will never look back! You may also just find you do like it! So, then, If this is you... I’m now going to share more exciting information with you! You may have heard there are faster, smarter, easier ways to do this...there probably are ...for faster, smarter, hustlier type people. You must complete each Skill Sector lesson, as each lesson via pdf, video or MP3, has vital information within it which is needed to carry out the tasks in the next and following lessons.
This is a full on 3-5 year Membership Program, broken into 6 main Skill Sectors.
You can stop moving up to the next Skill Sector at any Sector you chose and continue on in a Skill level you're happy with, if what you're earning at that level is what you want in that Skill Sector.

Here's the skill set run down again...
- Can compose and send e-mail
- Can set up a G-mail email account if asked to
- Have been to You Tube to watch a video or at least know what You Tube is!
- Can use a Digital Camera
- Have "been on" Facebook, My Space, Twitter or some form of social media site
- Have uploaded a picture from your camera to your computer
- Can type in Word documents or equivalent...typing e-mails is fine
- Know what "cut and paste" means or have done it.
Now you know what some of the basic beginner skills are that you'll
need to get going, let's get you started!
First you'll need an area of interest to focus on... for this example, we'll say you like "X" because everything you’ll do for this new business revolves around your "niche" as it is called. I'll give you a quick tip on how exactly to pick a winner of a niche for yourself!
TIP...Have a look at home on your bookshelf at all the magazines, books you like best. Find the top 3 interests by amount you have collected. Then cull them until you realize your favorite subject! Then go into a newsagent/bookstore and check out the magazines for sale in that "niche" If there are many magazines and books for sale in that niche market, it's a safe bet you can begin there!
By choosing an area of interest that you really love, you are more likely to be able to help your customers and prospective customers with a great deal more honesty and credibility than someone who doesn't have a clue about the subject.
People can tell if you're just in it for the money and it doesn't cut it with them!

Is all about getting online, cutting through the maze of information overload and getting you up to the exciting stage of earning your first dollar online!
This first sector can take up to 24 weeks after the first 2,000 or so hours of basic computer skills and learning to gain the needed experience to build the money pipeline. Using some skills that you already have gained and don't realize!
This first sector period is the steepest learning curve of all and the one that just about everyone skips, as they feel this vital information contains no value... they skip this important period at their own peril and wander around in the internet wilderness for years on end until they figure it out!
That’s why only 3% of people online at any given time actually earn any money!
You can’t skip this skill set of learning and experience (unless you have plenty of money like our man in our previous story!) If you do skip these first weeks, you will just have to come back and do them anyway...as everything else rests on these important foundational learning and action weeks.
Skill Sector 1 ...Is geared to learning all about the new internet marketing world!

- Learn how to create and launch your own first money ready website, with prospect collection page, payment buttons and all!
- You’ll also learn how to create an easy first product to give away or sell
- Discover how to market that product the easy and free way
- Find out how to outsource (i.e. get someone else to do it) small, labour intensive jobs, very inexpensively right from the start, especially graphics, so you don’t get held up at seemingly expensive or technical road blocks
- Learn about traffic sources (that means getting people to come to your new website) and where to go to get your first sales...Idea is to become familiar with and use various free tools and free traffic methods
(not sophisticated Pay per click -(PPC) or Search Engine Optimising-(SEO), at this stage!) - Learn how to use an Autoresponder ( a simple little program that helps automate and organize your new data base) to build your data base of new prospects for the future...
- Build a data base (list) primarily of hopefully between 100 up to 1,000 or so, prospects and some customers in this first sector.
- You'll learn how to set disciplines to create good working habits. We want you to embed the 3-5 yr plan in your head and get you used to staying on track, working productively to an end in mind and gaining successful results.

The first 4 Skill Sectors are vital...

Designed to take you from earning your first dollar online up to earning a few hundred dollars of regular sustainable online monthly income.
Going from $1 to about $2-400 plus a month...about $50-100 a week, or about $14 a day!...ish. Would that make a difference in your life? This could take around another 1,000 to 1500 hours. That means more hours of skill learning, another 20 weeks of many hours a week action input.

- Become very unafraid of writing more articles
- Get busier creating more free reports
- Use some PAID tools now to distribute massive amounts of your content.
- Grow to about 5-25,000 total on your list hopefully, by the end of this Sector.
- Get your first Book into print and up for sale (regardless if you wrote it or had it ghost written for you!)
- Have a book series on the go...
- Action launch techniques learned about in last Sector
- JV partners may ask to come on board soon, with the growing size of your list. This can help build it outrageously fast!
- Learn how to create your own Membership sites.
